One of the largest cities in the state, Rock Hill has maintained much of its historical character. Downtown renovations have preserved architectural detail in creating the Center for the Arts, the Telephone Museum, and City Hall complex. Art galleries are featured at Winthrop University, at City Hall, and at Piedmont Medical Center.
